About this timed practice exam
Length, time and format follow the Pearson VUE candidate bulletin for the Pennsylvania exam: 30 items, 60 minutes, three answer options per item. Each practice question here shows three options (our full bank and free test use four). Topics follow the bulletin's content outline for the 25 scored items (Obtaining Notary Commission 4, Performing Notarial Acts 18, Notary Commission Management and Compliance 3), scaled to 30 questions here: 5, 21 and 4. The bulletin doesn't say which topics the 5 unscored pretest items cover. Here: Obtaining a commission 5, Performing notarial acts 21, Commission management & compliance 4.

Is this the same length as the real Pennsylvania notary exam?
It matches the length, time and format in Pearson VUE's candidate bulletin: 30 items (25 scored, 5 pretest) in 60 minutes, each with three answer options. This is timed practice with original questions, not the official exam.
How does the practice score relate to the passing score?
Pennsylvania requires a scaled score of 75 or higher (4 Pa. Code § 167.15). A scaled score is not a percentage, so this page shows a plain practice percentage and does not predict your official result.
Does it repeat the free 20-question test?
No. These 30 questions do not overlap with the free 20-question Pennsylvania sample. The full bank has 158 questions.
